RULES FOR PLAYING SWISS SYSTEM TOURS
Swiss system tours are a 1 on 1 match of players with multiple pairs. Round Winners advance
to play the next round. Highest number of round winners play equal to lower round winners until
a single winner is determined.
NOTE: A tour MUST have a minimum of 4 players to start the tournament. When the number of
registered players is odd, Case will insert a Bye Player, which is an automatic win for the
Player who gets the Bye.
All players enter tour via jump number as usual. Case displays the entrants
on the registered players list.
For Swiss Tours the following steps occur:
1. When the tour starts Case will randomly match up players to determine the Pairs for the
First Round.
2. TD will announce the Pairs.
3. TD will request the player announce their Score, the Round Winner/ Round Non-Winner Name at
round end.
4. TD will collect scores and compare against the pair opponent to determine round winner.
5. TD will announce all winners of round for agreement.
After winners are marked, Case will advance to the next round and TD will repeat Steps 2 thru 5
until a final winner is determined. Case determines all round pairings. The TD will only
change rematched pairs.
WeNuts members cannot select the player they wish to bowl against, Case randomly selects
pairs.
One Ball
Players will throw one ball per frame, any player who throws 2 balls will be disqualified for that round.
If both players throw a second ball the first one to do so is disqualified and the opponent wins. On frame 10 you play the whole frame. In other words, you roll the ball up to 3 times.
Special One Ball Option - The final score to be reported at the end of game will be in reverse. ie., a score of 123 will be scored at 321 for high score.
RULES FOR PLAYING SWISS 2 x 2 TEAM TOUR
All players enter tour via jump number as usual. Case displays the entrants with a Random
Team marking the first column of the registered players list.
For Team Tours the following steps occur:
1. When the tour starts Case will randomly match up players to determine the teams and the
Team Pairs for the Round.
2. TD will announce the Pairs. Team 1 Names vs Team 2 Names.
3. TD will request both members of the team add their individual scores and announce the
total for the round.
4. TD will collect scores and compare Team Totals against the opposing Team.
5. TD will announce winners of round for agreement.
After winners are marked, Case will advance to the next round and TD will repeat Step 2 thru 5
until final tour team winner is determined.
WeNuts members cannot select the player they wish to be paired with. Players may review the
Round Pairings/Teams by clicking on the Pairings at the top of the Tour Page.
TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS MONTH TOUR.
The Tournament of Champions (TOC) Tour is an Invitation Only tour which is offered each month.
To be eligible for the TOC a
WeNuts Member must have won at least one tour during the
previous month. The TOC consists of up to four (4) Semi Final matches. The
final pair of the Semi Final
match is then eligible to play in the Tournament of Champions Final Tour. Four (4) players are
required.
TOC Semi Finals are offered over a 3-4 day period at various times for WeNuts Members' convenience.
Qualifying league members can ONLY PLAY IN ONE SEMI FINAL. If eliminated in the first semi
final they may not re-enter on a subsequent night.
NOTE: Due to the very generous high bux awarded, entrance fees are $ 100.00. All members are
responsible for insuring their accounts have sufficient bux, or request a donation from a Bux
Fairy prior to signing up.
HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE TOC.
The Tournament of Champions has a Pre Registered List of all members who won tours on the
previous month. Members may find the TOC Semi Finals from the Tourney Calendar and clicking on
the jump number. The member must Check In, this may be done from the Pull Down list located
on the top center of the Tourney Page. Players will enter their Name, Password, Check the
Read Rules box, then click on the CheckIn box.
Only Checked In Members will be eligible to play in the TOC. The TOC is a single
elimination
tournament. Players must win their round to advance.
GOLD/SILVER PIN STRIKE TOURNAMENT
At the discretion of the Tournament Direction, a regular Swiss System tour can be
enhanced by including a Gold/Silver Pin Strike bonus. The TD will gift all players
who strike on their Gold or Silver Pin during the round. 50 Bux for gold and 25 for
silver.
Gold/Silver Strike Rules:
1. Members will be paired and play each round by the regular Swiss System. However,
Pogo randomly places a gold or silver pin in any frame during the game.
2. In order to participate in the Gold/silver Pin Gift Bux, the member MUST call out
in chat the type of pin they have set. Then they must Strike on that frame in order
to be eligible to receive the gifted bux.
3. If a member fails to call out either Gold or Silver and does strike, no bux will be
awarded.
4. At the conclusion of the round/tour, the TD will verify the player Special Pin Strikes
to be awarded Bux.
5. The TD will gift the bux the eligible members after the conclusion and close out of
the tour.
BATTLE OF THE SEXES TOURNAMENT
The Battle of the Sexes Tournament (BOTS) is an fun and friendly tour offered each month.
All Wenuts Members in good standing can join either the Ladies or Men's tour.
The BOTS consists of TWO TOURS, the Ladies and the Gents. The winner of the each tour goes into
a one match playoff to determine the final Tournament winner. Due to the extremely high turn out
for the ladies, two tours may be run to determine a single winner to advance to the final game.
The BOTS tours will be played on one night and tour times will vary for WeNuts Members'
convenience. Members are encouraged to cheer on their tour winners to determine who is the
better bowler that month.

MIX AND MATCH TOURNAMENTS
Mix and Match Tours are a regular Swiss system tour of 1 on 1 matchs of players with multiple pairs.
However, each round plays a different type of game, from the list below. Round Winners advance to play
the next round. Highest number of round winners play equal to lower round winners until a single
winner is determined.
NOTE: A Mix and Match tour should have a minimum of 6 players to insure 3 rounds are played. The
following are the types of games that can be played for each round.
a. One Ball
b. No Strike
c. Turkey's Win
d. Gold and Silver Strike
e. Regular Swiss
For Mix and Match tours the following occurs:
1. The TD can pick the order of the games to be played and announces which games for each round.
2. When the tour starts Case will randomly match up players to determine the Pairs for the
First Round.
3. TD will collect scores and compare against the pair opponent to determine round winner. Announce
winners, gain agreement and advance to the next round. Game rules apply for each round, ie, for
One Ball, if someone roles a spare by mistake, they forfeit the round to their opponent.
4. TD will announce the round 2 game to be played. The above steps are repeated for Round 3 until a
winner is determined.
TURKEY'S WIN TOURNAMENTS
The object of the Turkey's Win Tournament is the first player to get a Turkey wins the game. The
match is regular Swiss Pairs and rounds.
Each player must call out that they got a turkey.
In the event both players of the pairs get a turkey at the same time, then the highest score
for the game will determine winner.
If no turkeys are rolled during the game, then the highest score will determine the winner.
NO STRIKE TOURNAMENT
At the discretion of the Tournament Direction, a regular Swiss System tour can be
enhanced by including a No Strike Tournament.
The aim of this tour is to give lesser skilled players a change to win.
No Strike Rules:
1. Members will be paired and play each round by the regular Swiss System. However,
If a player gets a strike, they must call it out and the td will deduct 10 pins from the score.
2. If a member fails to call out a strike, they forfeit the game.
3. At the conclusion of the round, the player reports their score and number of strikes
for deduction. The TD will record and determine winner of pair for the round.
4. After winners are determined, they advance to the next round, until a winner is determined.
RULES FOR PLAYING SINGLE ELIMINATION TOURS
Single Elimination tours are a 1 on 1 match of players with multiple pairs. In order to advance
a player must win his/her round. Players only advance if their round is won. Any loss of a
round will result in elimination from the tour. Rounds go to quarter finals, semi finals then
final round to determine the Tour Winner.
NOTE: A single elimination tour MUST have a minimum of 4 players to start the
tournament and tours with less than 8 or 16 players will have Byes on Round 1 to the next round.
A player who receives a Bye is an automatic winner of that round.
All players enter tour via jump number as usual. Case displays the entrants
on the registered players list. An odd number of players will result in a Bye being entered.
For Single Elimination Tours the following steps occur:
1. When the tour starts Case will randomly match up players to determine the Pairs for the
First Round. Odd numbers will result in one or more Byes. Pairs must be 2, 4 or 8.
2. TD will announce the Pairs.
3. TD will request the player announce their Score, the Round Winner/ Round Non-Winner Name at
round end.
4. TD will collect scores and determine round winners.
5. TD will announce all winners of round for agreement. Only winners will advance to the
next round.
After winners are marked, Case will advance to the next round (Quarter Finals, Semi Finals)
and TD will repeat Steps 2 thru 5 until a final winner is determined. Case determines
all round pairings.
Wenuts members cannot select the player they wish to bowl against, Case randomly selects
pairs.
FRIDAY NIGHT HOEDOWN TOURNAMENTS
Hoedowns are a series of Tournaments for fun and friends on Friday nights. The
Three (3) tours are weekly and start at 8PM, 9PM, and 10PM
each offering up to 500 gifted bux by the TDS, plus the generous Case winnings.
Tournament Calendars should be checked weekly. Entrance Fees are 40 bux per tour.
All Wenut Members in good standing can join in all the Hoedowns, however, once a
Hoedown tour is won, the member cannot play in the subsequent Hoedown tours that night.
This ensures that all members have a chance to win the gifted bux.
Most tours will be Swiss System tours, but at the TDs discretion and for member enjoyment,
other tour formats may be played. Announcement of the Hoedown format will be made in advance.

BASEBALL TOURNAMENT
A Baseball Tour is played
as a regular Swiss Tour with the exception that a Strike Out (3 strikes)
in the same game and the player loses. Each time a player rolls a strike they put in
chat Strike 1, or Strike 2, etc. On the third strike their opponent wins.
Each new round, it starts
again. If both players Strike Out the high score wins.
SPARES COUNT
The tour is a regular swiss pairs tour
only the highest score is not necessarily the winner. Each
opponent counts
and calls out the number of spares they make during the
game. The highest number of
spares (10 max) is the winner. If both opponents make the same
number of spares,
then the
high score counts.
TWISTER - Reverse Twister
Twister is a swiss tour with the addition
of 1 ball rules. Frames 1 - 5 are played as One Ball,
Frames 6 - 10 are
Normal 2 ball frames and full 3 in 10th. If an opponent throws
2nd ball or spare in Frames 1-5 that opponent is disqualified.
